• This is an extra tool to enhance your imaging, not a replacement for voice talent or Sung Jingles. Sung Jingles remain the gold standard if your budget allows.
• AI vocals are not as consistent as Sung Jingles. While AI adds a creative and modern touch, it doesn’t match the reliability or polish of real singers.
• As with all our custom imaging, everything is made from scratch to match your scripts and brief, ensuring it works seamlessly with any format.
• AI isn’t for everyone, so you’ll need to request it on your order. But trust us, we use it creatively in a way you’ll love.
• Our experienced producers know how to make this technology sound its absolute best, blending it perfectly with your imaging.

RADIO IMAGING TERMINOLOGY:

Stinger: A short audio production, up to 7 words, incorporating sound effects (e.g., [Impact SFX] “This is ABC Radio!”). It is typically played between songs.

Sweeper/Station ID/Liner: A slightly longer audio production, usually played at the top of the hour. It lasts around 15 seconds or contains up to 30 words and includes sound effects and music (e.g., “This is ABC Radio, listen online at ABCRadio.com and on 106.3FM…”).

Cold Voiceover: A voice recording professionally mastered with compression, EQ, and reverb but without sound effects or music. It is delivered ready for broadcast and licensed for use over music intros on your radio station.

Cold Mixout: A cold voiceover version of a stinger or sweeper script.

Ramp – Usually has at least a 10-second instrumental intro for your announcers to talk over, ramps lead into a catchy sung station name outro that sets the tone for the show ahead. Nail the intro point for a slick sound!

Slogan – Commonly known as a Shotgun also. Jammed between songs, Slogans blend your station’s slogan (e.g., Hit Music & Dance!) and name (e.g., LFM) with a singer and your station’s signature spoken voice.

Sting – Bite-sized and infectious, our sung Stings are short, sweet jingles perfect for playing between songs, keeping your station’s name fresh in your listeners’ minds.

Sonic ID – Build listener recognition with an instrumental snippet of your jingles’ sonic tune (e.g., three tones da-da-da for LFM), Ideal for news features and various segments.

Acapella – Your station’s name sung without music, ideal for quick transitions between songs.

   • Important: Your spoken parts are always recorded by real human voices. The “+AI” simply adds a creative singing-style touch that feels close to sung jingles, but it’s not a replacement.

   • Best for: Stations that want a modern upgrade with a touch of singing energy without going into full sung jingles.

3. Sonic Imaging

   • What it is: Imaging that includes a composed sonic tune (a station theme) blended into your sweepers and stingers. This creates a recognizable audio identity for your station.

   • Note: This is a composed sonic signature, not full custom music composition.

   • Best for: Stations that want their branding to sound unified and instantly recognizable.

4. Sonic Imaging +AI

   • What it is: Combines the composed sonic tune with AI-driven singing drops, alongside your human-voiced imaging.

   • Best for: Stations that want a premium, distinctive sound with both a sonic theme and creative AI singing elements without going into full sung jingles.
